Renewal

You need to renew your membership each year, otherwise it will lapse.
It's not demanding, but ensures that your data is up to date. It gives you the chance to amend your membership class, BDI hive number, address, etc, and you will need to agree to our Ts&Cs (constitution and data privacy policy for example). The latter is an important step because, as you know, your data is not held only by NBBKA but also passed to BBKA and BDI.
The process is quick and easy, especially if you're not making any changes. You can do it on a mobile phone in about 20 seconds. It's a lot easier today than it was many years ago, with paper forms.

Timescale
Our membership year ends at the end of March and after setting subscription price at our autumn AGM we ask you to renew by the middle of March. This is because we must provide capitation details to our parent bodies (whose ledger years we align with) by certain dates and if you've not renewed by then you're deemed to have lapsed. We will advise members by email and on this website when the window for renewal opens and is due to close.
